Where can I rent snowmobiles and UTVs in the Upper Peninsula?
Right here at Grand Marais Powersports. We are centrally located and connect to the UP snowmobiling trail system. Year after year we experience and immense amount of snowfall!
What is the best time to snowmobile Grand Marais?
The best time of day to go snowmobiling is first thing in the morning. In the morning, the trails are usually very flat. The best time of week to go snowmobiling is midweek, if possible. Although weekends are filled with just as much fun and adventure.
Do you rent snowmobile clothing?
Helmets, jackets and Bibs(snow pants) are available to rent with all snowmobile rentals.
What should I wear to go Grand Marais snowmobiling?
Dress warmly and in layers. Long johns and snow pants are a great start. Be sure to bring good, lined winter gloves and warm boots.
What type of snowmobiles & UTVs are available for rent?
We rent Ski Doo Snowmobiles & 2, 4 & 6 Seat Pan-am machines.
On a double snowmobile can we switch drivers?
Yes, as long as both parties are at least 17 years of age with a valid driver’s license. You must be at least 21 to rent a snowmobile from Grand Marais Powersports.
Do we have to pick up our rental snowmobile or can you bring it to us?
At Grand Marais Powersports you can park and hit the trails right from our location. You can trailer a machine, if you choose, but snowmobiles must be in an enclosed trailer.
Can I rent a snowmobile for more than one day at a time?
Yes! Grand Marais Powersports offers multiple day rental discounts.
